KQHDA organized its 10th CME on 11th November. The President Dr Chaitali Kulkarni introduced the speaker and everyone stood for a minute silence for peace day. Dr Deepa Raje Nimbalkar is a well established ,cheerful and always smiling Homeopath with MD pediatric and holds a diploma in counselling and spiritual health from Annamalai University. She graduated from Bharati Vidhyapeeth, Pune and MD from Sonaji Rao, Beed. She is currently the secretary of KQHDA and with her contagious smile brings lot of positivity around her. She has earned wide recognition in field of Homeopathic pediatrics. After 7 years of hard work, she has published her own book called ” Panchkosha: Homeopathy a divine science” which will be inaugurated at the Pondicherry Seminar. The Speaker started the presentation with defining Panchkosha, meaning five sheaths within our human body, namely
  • Annamaya Kosha means the food sheath
  • Pranamaya Kosha means the breath sheath
  • Manomaya Kosha means the mind sheath
  • Vijnanmaya Kosha means the wisdom sheath
  • Anandamaya Kosha means the bliss sheath
Dr Deepa explained how these Panchkosha and homoeopathy are related and is a divine science. These Kosha are related to our cells, DNA, tissues, organs, energy field within us, Our feelings, mind, higher consciousness and the unconscious divine spark within us. The organon of medicine has described these panchkoshas which we have read but did not know that these can be related to the panchkoshas within us. For example the Aphorism 259 to 265 speaks on diet and regimen can be related to the Annamaya Kosha. The change or alteration in diet and lifestyle can bring about improvement in health. One must eat and sleep only as much is required by the body. Anything more or less can cause feeling of uneasiness or disharmony. The Pranamaya Kosha is related to the breaths we take. Our life cycle begins with the first breath and ends with the last breath. As mentioned in Aphroism 11, when a person is ill or sick , his vital force is deranged causing disturbance in homeostasis and balance. The Vital force fuels the homoestatic energy bringing back to state of balance or equilibrium. Dr Amarsinh Nikam therefore calls Vital force as ” oxygen”. The Manomaya Kosha or the mind sheath is explained in Aphorism 210 to 230 which is related to Mental diseases. The Vijnanamaya Kosha is the intellect ,wisdom, knowledge sheath. It is the part of one’s being responsible for will, discernment and determination. It is the intuition one has, for example, the rubrics like clairvoyance and prophesying an individual may have is the awareness or stimulation of his Vijnanamaya Kosha. Sometimes the feeling of dejavu cam be related to this Kosha. Dr Deepa further explained on the moon phases and how it affects an Individual. The full moon creates a tidal effect due to the magnetic forces in earth and moon on oceans. Human body as all are aware is made up of 70% water, hence in some individuals depending on their magnetic field within show aggravation and amelioration during moon phases during New moon, waxing, waning and full moon. Dr Deepa briefly explained the moon phase rubrics. Aphorism 286 to 288 can be related to Anandmaya Kosha. One who has been able to attain or reach to this sheath have the power to heal through magnetic healing, mesmerise. They can transfer positive energy to another person without touching them. The first three Kosha are seen in most of the individuals. Reaching or exploring the fourth and fifth Kosha, one needs to have depth of knowledge, meditate and let go off all his negativities such as ego, pride, anger and work towards the betterment of society and people through his healing touch. The entire session gave a new way of understanding the organon of medicine and never thought Panchkosha could be related to Homeopathy. Yes, Homoeopathy is a divine science and one has to master the skills to heal others. The CME concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Chaitali Kulkarni and Prof Dr B D Patel announcing the Book Panchkosha: Homoepathy a divine science written by Dr Deepa Raje Nimbalkar. Prof Dr B D Patel spoke on the shlokas in the Bhagavad Gita which speaks on these Panchkoshas. The Momento was handed over to Dr Deepa Raje Nimbalkar by Prof B D Patel followed by snacks and tea.
