Challenges in Pediatric cases

In the practice of medicine nothing is as gratifying to the physician as bringing the joy of good health to the little angels. KQHDA in this regard conducted a very interesting National Webinar on ” Challenges in Pediatric Practice ” by eminent speakers.
The webinar commenced with Shangunadham by Patron Prof Dr B D Patel & a warm welcome by Dr Subha ( General secretary KQHDA).

Dr Sanjay Paniker (Joint Secretary KQHDA) gave a brief introduction of all four speakers.
First session was by Dr Shelly Sharma who highlighted that keen observation, pregnancy hist, healthy rapport with a child was important in practice. She discussed a wonderful case of recurrent UTI treated with Dulcamara.

This was followed by Dr Anusha Kulkarni speaking on milestones, vaccination hist, behavioural analysis in terms of anger, activity,social response in the children. She shared two cases of autism & acute abdomen with Phosphorus & Calc phos.

Next speaker Dr Deepa Raje threw light on challenges of handling parental anxiety, current limitations in phone consultation etc.Her case presentations showed the positive impact of Homoeopathic intervention in the evolution of a healthy individual.

Dr Trupti Pai presented two beautiful cases treated with Sulphur & Pulsatilla.She mentioned the importance of unprejudiced observation as a key factor in paediatric practice.

The session concluded with Prof Dr Sreepad Hegde (President KQHDA) addressing the fundamental needs of children.He also mentioned the traditional practice of prescribing Sulphur as an antipsoric in newborns. The webinar concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Manisha Chopra (Joint Secretary KQHDA).
